We wandered around the Vendor Area in the morning.
We taught the “Frame Failure – Or How to Avoid Breaking Your Vehicle in Half” class at 11:00 at the Hands-On Demo area. This required packing up our vehicle and moving it to the area near the Entrance. So we made sure we were back at our vehicle by 10:00 to do all this. We arrived in plenty of time.
The class was based on the information Jon learned when we needed to replace the frame in our vehicle. It covered the different ways that a load can be attached to a vehicle and the advantages and disadvantages of the different systems.
We had a good turn out, but it was really cold, especially in the shade.
We met up with my mom and a friend in the late morning. She and Jim came out on Friday and Saturday for the day.
In the afternoon, we participated in a Roundtable Regional Q&A session on traveling in the Continental US West. We went to the Happy Hour after our Roundtable was over. We spend much of the day walking around talking with Vendors and other Overland visitors.
